About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a statutory body constituted in every higher education institution (HEI) in India. The IQAC is responsible for the continuous improvement of the quality of academic and administrative processes in the HEI. It acts as a catalyst for conscious and consistent improvement in the overall performance of institutions.

Composition of IQAC (As per NAAC)

Chairperson

Head of the Institution

IQAC Coordinator / Director

A senior teacher experienced in quality assurance with time and commitment to devote to the work of the IQAC.

Senior Administrative Officers

  • Vice-Principal
  • Registrar
  • Dean of Academics
  • Dean of Students

Teachers

Three to eight teachers selected from different departments.

  • Must have good track record of teaching
  • Must have good track record of research

Management Member

One representative from the governing body of the college or a member of the college's management team.

Local Society / Alumni

One or two nominees.

  • Respected local community members
  • Individuals with strong interest in the college

Employers / Industrialists

One or two nominees.

  • Representatives of hiring organizations
  • Stakeholders interested in college programs
